Altimedes Consulting (www.altimedes.com) is a Brussels based international management consulting firm combining a strong expertise in horizontal logistics collaboration, energy management, corporate responsibility and sustainable development in the transport and logistics sector. Altimedes collaborates with public authorities and clients in the private sector to help them reach much higher performance levels in energy efficient and sustainable transportation, logistics and supply chains.
Our experts have more than 15 years of experience in helping corporations develop the most adequate emissions trading strategies, manage risks and make use of financial opportunities related to the EU ETS.
Jos Cozijnsen MMA, consulting attorney emissions trading
Jos Cozijnsen worked from 1993 to 1997 for the Netherlands' Environment Ministry on the development of climate change policies and as a member of the Dutch delegation to the international climate meetings including Kyoto.
He is a leading advisor in the field of emissions trading and projects, advising large companies, public authorities and NGO’s on several national and international aspects and projects related to emissions trading.

Sander de Moor Fuel efficiency expert in the aviation sector
Sander de Moor is a leading expert in fuel efficiency project management and flight operational support in the aviation sector. Sander has been active in flight operational support for almost 25 years, covering energy efficiency management, flight planning, flight dispatch, payload control, operational & network control and ground operations/station management.
Presently managing a fuel efficiency campaign with a member airline of the Star Alliance, he spent 2 years traveling the globe as part of the IATA Green Teams, performing Fuel Efficiency Gap Analyses and implementation projects at over 20 airlines.
Previous experience includes being Senior Aviation Consultant with Airbus Cimpa in Hamburg, project-managing airport assessments for A380 and A340-600 operational airport-aircraft compatibility evaluations, developing an in-house fuel cost optimisation program for Airbus customers while also running courses on Flight Dispatch and CRM topics. He is co-founder and was first president of the Dutch Airlines Dispatcher Association (DALDA), promoting inter-airline flight operational knowledge and exchange with the International Federation of Airline Dispatchers Associations (IFALDA).
Erik van Agtmaal Sustainable transport consultant and project manager
Erik van Agtmaal is managing partner of Altimedes Consulting and co-funded the Green Logistics Consultants Group. The Green Logistics Consultants Group is a global international collaborative network of supply chain consultants and researchers with a general or specific expertise in areas where companies, authorities and governments can improve the energy and environmental performance of their transport and logistics operations and supply chains.
Altimedes Consulting, based near Brussels, is an international consulting firm in transport energy efficiency project management, sustainable transport and in the ETS. Clients in the field of sustainable logistics include leading companies and organisations such as IATA, ADEME, OECD, UNEP and public authorities in several European countries.
Erik is a leading expert in corporate finance, methodologies for the calculation of greenhouse gas and other emissions from transport and logistics sources, the implementation of energy management systems consistent with EN 16001 and ISO 50001 standards and in the EU ETS for the aviation sector.
Erik is a lecturer for collaborative networks and sustainable transport and a member of several international advisory and working groups in the field of emissions monitoring and reporting and sustainable transport and logistics.
